If you are looking for peace and quiet in a French village - look no further The house, built of local stone, is situated in the heart of a small medieval village on the lower slopes of the Montagne Noire, close to the vineyards of the Minervois wine growing area.  It is within easy reach of the Mediterranean coast, Cathar castles and historic abbeys and only 20 minutes away from the spectacular medieval walled city of Carcassonne. The location offers breathtaking views, peace and quiet and the true feel of old France.  Relax in the sun around the pool, or explore the surrounding countryside.  There are fabulous walks which start just beyond the garden gate!    The house has its own secluded walled garden with heated pool. It has 3 floors, and faces south over the valley. There is a bar/restaurant in the village which provides excellent food, a warm welcome and music events during the summer months. The village is small but there is a village nearby which has a number of shops, restaurants and amenities.
